FAB Freestyle

Based on the FAB freestyle system, consisting of 25 different blocks on easy to read cards, this workshop will show you how to deliver a great freestyle class all the time, every time. You will learn how to select, develop and modify choreography based on 32 count blocks. This FAB freestyle workshop will empower you to present freestyle group fitness classes which are well planned and soundly structured so each participant is always challenged and working at his or her max.

Pilates - Back to Basics

From day to day activities to training for a specific event, Pilates enhances our quality of life. The Pilates method is built around a number of principles and important foundations. Lateral thoracic breathing, neutral pelvis and neutral spine are of utmost importance. If a solid foundation is lacking everything that follows on will not be effective. In this session we will explore the 3x foundations and how to achieve them. Ribcage placement, shoulder alignment and neutral neck position will also be investigated, as will the importance of posture. The 5x movement patterns of the body will also be explored. This workshop is a must for the personal trainer, or group fitness trainer who want their clients to achieve their potential through solid core awareness.

Using only one dumbbell as a buoyancy and resistance tool, this session is sure to challenge your cardiovascular fitness and core muscle strength. As only Marietta knows how, this session will demonstrate the multitude of ways a dumbbell can be used to create interesting movement patterns and deep water core exercises never seen before. If you are looking for a session that does not require lots of equipment, but can achieve an amazing workout, then this is the session for you.
